All about me

Art is not considered a path to follow when you grow up in an Asian household.

Being a complete nerd for 19 years is long enough for me to realize that stereotypical careers such as an accountant or engineer are not meant for me.

“Starving artist” is the term that my parents would use to against any type of artistic approach that I have the desire to try.

I’m now a photographer after sneaking into many art classes and countless times of getting punished for following this “unstable” path.

Logistically, artistic blood runs in the family.

My dad is a crazy artist himself from creating a giant mechanical system from scratch, drawing portraits in five minutes with a pen and design our house with cohesive color tones.

Don’t want to talk about my two uncles who are professional photographers.

Photography seems like a trendy hobby nowadays, but there wasn’t much information online to learn.

I taught myself everything from lighting, composition, angles to editing.

How many times did I give up?

Countless attempts until I finally got a hang of it and developed my own photography styles.

With a glance of an eye, many sleepless nights watching online tutorials, free photoshoots for friends and family for practice, capturing memories for other people is now my second job.
