Photography is a tricky field where to get the best photos, photographers need to master technical knowledge as well as possess the aesthetic eyes.
I will include all the basic information that all beginners need to know. The content will be informative, condensed, short and easy to understand.
What is ISO?
In an easier term to understand, ISO is basically a camera setting that will brighten or darken a photo. When you increase you ISO number, your photos is going to raise the brightness. Thus, ISO is able to help you capture images in the environment that lacks natural lighting. You can also be more flexible about your F-stop and shuttle speed settings.

Everything has its own negative consequences if it is overused. ISO is not the exception. Increasing your ISO too high, your photo will show a lot of grain or noise. It might not be noticeable when you first take it. However, that grain and noise will bug you when editing. Thus, be very careful with ISO since it could ruin your photo if you don’t know how to control it.

ISO stands for “International Organization for Standardization”. It originally defined only film sensitivity but it adopted by digital camera production later on with the function of maintaining the brightness levels.
